The Mount Gay Stableford
Marc McCollin presents the prizes to the 2 top winners, Michelle Goddard & Clarence Hiles
As always The Mount Gay Stableford proved to be a popular competition with the scoring very close. We had a rare Saturday this week with no rain to dampen the spirits and the course was playing very well so no-one had excuses of recent weeks.
The two ‘Nearest to the Pin’ prizes on 2/11 & 6/15 were won by Livingstone Webster & Gordon Keenan respectively. Third prize in the 15+ flight was won by Doreen DaCaries, in 2nd place was David Fields and winning by 2 points with 40 Stableford points was Michelle Goddard. In the 0-14 Flight the scores were even better with Neville Brewster collecting 3rd spot and Judd Cozier losing out on count-back to the winner & Club Captain, Clarence Hiles with 41 stableford points.
After the prize giving, Clarence thanked our sponsor Marc McCollin from Mount Gay who was kind enough to take time from his busy schedule to come to Rockley & present the prizes. Following the prize giving there was a lot of fun had while enjoying the flavours of Mount Gay’s many products.
